The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, political organization whose purpose is to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government.Ĭandidates will field questions posed by interested Washington Township residents. It also will be replayed on WT-TV (channel 9 on Comcast/channel 36 on Verizon) leading up to the Tuesday, November 2 nd election.īarbara Kutscher, a League of Women Voters of New Jersey-trained moderator and a member of LWV Burlington County, will serve as forum moderator.
Though the Forum will not be available for viewing as a live event, it will be recorded in its entirety and shared out within 24 hours of its conclusion on the District website ( as well as through social media. and will introduce the six petitioners seeking three available three-year terms on the Washington Township Board of Education. The virtual event will be recorded on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 7 p.m.
The Washington Township Presidents Council will sponsor the 2021 Meet the Candidates Forum.
